My Health Matters isn’t like other gyms!
At My Health Matters Fitness, we strive to hold space for your body in its full context—its history, its wisdom, its resilience, and its power. We do not define strength or fitness by appearance, ability, or conformity to a standard. Instead, we honor the many ways strength shows up, and we center a deep care for your body in every session.
We know that the fitness industry has long failed to honor the strength, power, and context of every body. We know this industry has historically excluded, harmed, and pathologized those who do not conform to narrow, oppressive ideals. We know that fitness spaces can be triggering or unsafe for many, especially those from marginalized communities. We will never claim to speak on behalf of those most harmed, but we will listen, learn, amplify, and share the resources of those doing the critical work to deconstruct the toxic systems that still exist in our industry.
Our team of trainers, instructors, and staff comes from diverse backgrounds. We do not all hold the same privileges, identities, or lived experiences. What we do share is a commitment to approaching this work with integrity, awareness, and deep respect for every body we serve, including our own. We also understand the limits of our scope of practice. When your care requires support beyond what we are trained to offer, we will guide you toward professionals who can meet those needs with skill and respect.
This work is ongoing. We are committed to doing it with accountability and care because your body matters, and you deserve a space that sees and supports all of you.
Meet our Staff
Britt McGrath (She/They)
Owner, Founder, Personal Trainer
I am the owner of My Health Matters Fitness. I almost left fitness after sustaining a knee injury that led to a loss of passion for sport. However, I healed through personal training and continue my passion which is to help other people who have had similar histories as mine, give diet culture and all of it’s toxic friends a huge middle finger.
Tiff Kreps (She/Her)
Studio Manager
I am the Studio Manager here at MHM. I meet with clients for fitness consulting, offer studio tours, and manages client information. I also do a lot of the “behind the scenes” work like scheduling, creating and posting to social media, sending out emails, and all that other administrative stuff that Type A people like me LOVE to do!

Client Coordinator
I am the Client Coordinator here at MHM. A member since the beginning, you may see me at the front desk or in a group fitness class. I am strongly rooted in Health at Every Size, Fat Liberation, and the fact that ALL bodies deserve to have spaces where they can explore movement.
