  • Whether you are just starting out, beginning to rediscover movement, or have been finding movement for a while, you’ll find many opportunities to move in a safe, supported, HAES aligned way in our large group fitness classes.

With HAES aligned instructors, try out spin classes, TRX classes, boxing classes, yoga classes, barre classes, and strength classes to help you feel connected and supported on your movement journey.

  • If you like the idea of finding movement with others but want a little more individualized instruction from one of our personal trainers, small group personal training is for you.

These personal training sessions focus on overall body strengthening and full body mobility exercises in a circuit-style routine.

  • We offer one-on-one personal training and Semi-Private In-Studio and Virtual sessions.

These personal training sessions are 45 mins long and are crafted specifically with your goals in mind. We emphasize teaching the why behind movements and how it can help you feel supported in your everyday lives. Whether you are looking to move more pain-free, play with your grandchildren more freely, or just want to explore unique movements in a supportive, trauma-informed way, one-on-one personal training is for you.

We do not do measurements, before and after photos, or focus on weight loss. This is an anti-diet, weight-inclusive, fat-positive studio, and ALL bodies are welcome and celebrated without the toxicity of diet and fitness culture standards.

  • We offer weekend fitness workshops led by HAES aligned providers from the area to discuss topics within their scope of practice.

Our studio is designed to also amplify the voices of others who are doing amazing work in this HAES community. Stay tuned for workshops as they are scheduled to learn about some amazing topics!!

  • Yes and yes!! We believe that gender is not binary and all should feel safe coming into our exercise studio, especially when it comes to bathrooms and changing. We have two ADA (wheelchair accessible) bathrooms (two separate rooms) as well as an ADA shower room (separate from bathrooms).

  • Hell to the fucking no! If you are looking into our company, you are here because you are, like many of us, looking for a way to move away from toxic diet culture and fitness culture standards and find ways to reconnect with your body in ways that do not involve weight loss or measurements. Our body’s worth is not and should not be reflective of how much we weigh or if we fit into the very small minded, impossible standard of fitness and health that society deems (and changes yearly). If you are looking to have a life saving or specific surgery that involves the need for weight loss, you are always welcome to reach out to us and we will help guide you to resources that can help on this journey. Shame and guilt are not words in our dictionary at MHM Fitness so even if you are struggling to separate from the diet minded thinking, you are not alone and we would love to help you discover other ways to move past it together. All are welcome!!!

  • You are welcome. ALWAYS! Just because we strive to spread the Health at Every Size alignment along with many other amazing companies, and practice weight inclusivity/body image empowerment, doesn’t mean we still don’t feel that pressure from diet and fitness culture regularly. Decades of being bombarded with weight loss this and try this new fad diet that, it is no wonder we are still actively working on healing our relationship with our bodies with less judgement. You will still wake up some days and dislike your body. You will still have days where eating may be hard. Just know that we stand with you, are going through this with you, and have not only our resources to help guide you, but also the resources of other amazing HAES aligned companies in our area to help us along the way. So please please do reach out. You do belong and we will help you on this journey.

  • HAES is an acronym for Health at Every Size. It is an alignment created by the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH) to help companies create a space for all people, in all bodies, of all backgrounds, to find places to feel safe and supported in a very unsupportive world, especially in the fitness field. There are 5 principles in HAES and I absolutely recommend checking them out at https://asdah.org/health-at-every-size-haes-approach/ to learn more!

Everyone deserve access to equal care and support regardless of their body size or ability.

  • At the moment, we offer only virtual personal training sessions. We wanted to maintain a hybrid approach to movement so that we can support as many people as we can on this journey. Whether it is for financial reasons, unable to find transportation to the studio, are disabled and cannot leave your house, and/or are immunocompromised, we want to be able to support all.

We will also be working on creating an online library of recorded and live fitness classes once we are settled into the studio for a bit so be on the look out for those!!

  • Our exercise studio is open and available for ALL!! Whether you are 18 years old or 100 years old, able bodied or have a disability, have severe pain/difficulties with movement or have ease of access to movement, you are welcome and deserve to be here.

We will always do our best to never exclude anyone who is interested in coming to our sweet, badass fitness community (except if you are a racist, homophobic asshole!). If there is anything we could do better to be more representative of other communities or help our space feel more safe for you, please let us know. Your voice matters and your experience with us is important so never hesitate to reach out for help or feedback.

  • Yes!! We recognize that our prices are a bit higher than some other places in the area and get that not everyone has equal access to sustainable finances.

Therefore, we do offer equity pricing and strongly encourage you to reach out if you are interested in our services but need a different pricing structure. We will not turn you away and want you to be a part of our fitness community regardless of your financial access.

MHM has your back.
